For filmmakers and film enthusiasts – that’s what RoJCrowd is made for. Over the years our film community has grown and Retrospective of Jupiter has become a valuable film platform in the loyal film community.

Crowdfunding is about so much more than raising money: it is more about sharing your story with the world, building an audience and a loyal community, and boosting careers. RoJCrowd is the first place to start in this process. Over the past few years, we have built a community that is interested in exactly your film project.
Retrospective of Jupiter features award-winning masterpieces from around the world. Our goal is to provide an all-in-one service for filmmakers – from funding an idea to awarding the finished masterpiece.

RojCrowd is a platform for creative storytelling projects from established filmmakers or aspiring filmmakers, theater artists, film festival initiators and many more. As long as your project raises funds for something that falls into the category of storytelling, you have passed the biggest requirement.

However, please note that as a platform, we are also selective and will sometimes not accept a project if we believe that it doesn’t fit our standards. We also need to be sure that a project and the rewards offered can be delivered on time. Crowdfunding involves a lot of effort on our part, so we expect you to be committed to the process.

Creating projects is completely free of charge.
When a campaign has been successfully funded, or when the campaign owner requests a payout, the campaign owner receives all the funds raised, with a deduction of 5%, which goes to the platform.

We work with Stripe, for online payment processing. Stripe charges a small fee for each transaction. In most countries, this is around 3% per transaction. For example in the USA it is 2.9% plus 30 cents per transaction. We have no influence on this. A detailed list of fees for the respective countries can be found here.

We want to make crowdfunding as easy as possible. At the same time, we do want to provide you with the best opportunity to fund your next project. That’s why we offer you the following crowdfunding options:

  1. Target Goal
    The campaign ends as soon as your funding goal is reached, even if the end date has not been arrived yet.

  2. Target date
    The campaign only ends as soon as the set end date has been reached, even if the funding goal has already been achieved.

  3. Target goal & date
    The campaign ends as soon as your funding goal has been reached, even if the end date has already passed.

  4. Campaign never ends
    The campaign will run until the time you end it.

In your dashboard you have full access to your data, your running campaigns and their current status. There you also have the possibility to add your bank details or place a request to withdraw your collected funds.

In the dashboard, under “My Campaigns” you have the possibility to share updates about your current projects with the community.

Go to your dashboard and select “Payments”. There you can see your current campaigns. Click on “View details” for the requested campaign. Here you will find the option to request a withdrawal of your raised funds.
Please enter your exact bank details (IBAN, name of your bank, BIC/SWIFT and your address).
As soon as we receive your request, we will review the details of your campaign and send you an email for double check. After your confirmation, we will transfer your funds to your account within 4-10 business days.

Please note: As soon as we have received your request for withdrawal, we will close your campaign. After that, it will no longer be possible to donate to your campaign.

Even if your funding goal has not been reached, you still have the option of withdrawing the donations you have raised. Please follow the same steps as in point 7. Please note that also in this case you are responsible for sending the rewards to the respective backers.

Why do we offer this? We strongly believe that when filmmakers have a project idea they want to realize, nothing can stop them from making it a reality. Sometimes even a small funding helps to give the impulse to turn the project into reality.

If the campaign goal has not been reached and we have not received a request for payout of the collected funds within one month after the end of the campaign period, the collected funds will be refunded back to the backers.

We check all donations received first. Only after the amount has been successfully transferred to our platform, we will approve it and it will be automatically assigned to the corresponding campaign.

Unfortunately not. As soon as you submit a withdrawal request, we will pay out the total amount of your campaign to your bank account.

Please not: Regardless of whether you submit only a part of the raised funds of a campaign for payout, we will pay you the full amount in one payout to a single bank account.
